Lou founded Balrae Associates, Inc. in 1986 and initially worked with medium-sized businesses selling and implementing turnkey systems comprised of hardware and software management that they used to run their businesses. In 1995, Balrae became Lawson Software’s first reselling partner and subsequently became Lawson’s largest and most successful partner. Balrae sold and implemented Lawson Software into medium and large companies including some Fortune 500 accounts such as Massey Coal, USA Today, AARP, and Universal Leaf Tobacco. Believing in the value of being an ASP in 2000, Lou clearly recognized the value of providing software solutions to businesses via the cloud and formed Nuage Consulting Group in 2011.
Glenn is responsible for the strategic growth of the company, primarily focusing on new customer acquisition. He determines new markets and opportunities to pursue and is responsible for new customer prospecting, solution design, and ensuring customer success.
Having a consulting background allows Glenn to have a unique approach when talking about software selection and implementation. He understands the complexities of internal adoption, system design, and ultimately the deployment of the solution. Glenn also observes the project transition team to ensure that all goals identified in the sales process are carried over into the implementation.
Mandy is an experienced project manager and business application consultant with over 20 years’ experience in ERP and Cloud Based Software Implementations. Her application experience ranges from complex financial and supply chain solutions to basic sales automation and web-based communications and collaboration tools. Mandy attributes her implementation success to her attention to detail, effective communication style, and a commitment to understand customer needs and set expectations appropriately.
Julia is the Lead Senior Application Consultant and Project Manager, with over 20 years of business experience including a high concentration in NetSuite and Lawson Financial applications. Julia has been actively involved in all aspects of the implementation life cycle including business needs analysis, system design, conversion efforts, and interface design. She has a keen ability to analyze the client’s business needs and develop the optimum solution. Julia has provided creative solutions to the health care, financial services, professional services, technology, non-profit, utilities, and mining industries.
Austin is a Finance, IT, and administration professional with extensive financial planning and analysis (FP&A) experience. He is a specialist in financial systems selection, implementation, and change management. Austin is certified in Adaptive Insights Implementation and Sales/Marketing.
Ray Oropesa is a “NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant,” Master Application Consultant, accounting professional, technical consultant, and project manager who has been working with and implementing Enterprise Software for over 20 years. Prior to consulting, Ray worked as a Regional Controller for USA Today and a project leader for the team that produced a new distribution and billing system. Ray has successfully implemented and managed projects for organizations in a multitude of industries. Ray is a Microsoft Certified Professional and has developed applications for systems using a plethora of databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, IBM DB2, Informix, and Microsoft Access.
Louis works with CFO’s, VP’s of Finance, FP&A Directors, and Budgeting Managers to understand their accounting and operational needs, as well as their budgeting, forecasting, reporting, consolidation, and business intelligence process and how to optimize them. His approach is simple: listen, do a thorough needs analysis, and match those needs to a solution.
